New! Information about Viva Las Vegas 2008!

The Royal Palms of St. Lucie is a women's organization committed to developing the potential of women, promoting volunteerism, and improving the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers. Its Purpose is both charitable and educational.

Through action and leadership, the Royal Palms are devoted to improving the lives of women and children in St. Lucie County, reaching out to all regardless of race, religion or ethnicity.

President's Message:

Thank you for visiting the Royal Palms of St. Lucie web site. The Royal Palms was created in 2002 and over the years we have shaped ourselves into quite a diverse group of women. The wonderful women in this group come from all walks of life and are committed to serving deserving families in St. Lucie County. Each year genuine friendships are made through service and having fun!

Every year, the Royal Palms all work together to pull of three exciting fundraisers. In the fall, we host the “Viva Las Vegas” Event and holiday ornament sale. In the spring, we host a crowd pleaser among the men with the Sportsman Charity Shoot-Out at Quail Creek. In addition to the hard work of our members, I would be remiss if I didn’t mention all the support we receive from local businesses. Thank you for your continued generosity! Without the support from our community these events would not continue to thrive.

In addition to our fundraisers, the Royal Palms participate in numerous service drives and projects throughout the year. Last year helped out with the Post Office canned food collection, coordinated a holiday party at PACE Center for Girls, along with participating in a school supply drive and a toy drive just to name a few.

Applications are now available to non-profit organizations who are interested in becoming a Royal Palm recipient. In October, we invite several local non-profit organizations to speak to our members. The Royal Palm members will have the opportunity to learn about each organization and how they serve women and children in the community. At the conclusion of the general member meeting, the members vote on how the organizations will receive funds distributed on the Palm Pyramid. See the “Community Outreach” section for more information on the Palm Pyramid.

It is so rewarding to collaborate with such a motivated and fun group of women who are all committed to serving their community.

Cheerfully,

Becky Springsteen
